San Teodoro is located in the Sardinian Eastern Coast, few km from Olbia and is served both by the panoramic route SS125 (Orientale sarda) and the highway SS131dcn, one of the main connections of Sardinia, connecting the Eastern side with the main route 131 Sassari-Cagliari.

Getting to San Teodoro from Olbia

There are several options to reach San Teodoro city centre from Olbia with public transports. The line is operated from the companies ARST, Deplano, Turmo Travel.

Some of them depart from the harbour, others from the city centre and the airport. We recommend you check the companies website to find best suitable option.

From Olbia by car there are several possibilities. If you arrive by boat or rent a car at Costa Smeralda Airport you will reach San Teodoro very easily.

  • SS131dcn: less then 25 minutes to San Teodoro city Centre
  • SS125:  10 minutes more than previous route enjoying one of the most scenic views of the Mediterranean sea. Take your time and choose vhere to stop along the road, start feeling on holidays.

Getting to San Teodoro from Alghero and Cagliari

The best way to join San Teodoro from Sardinia main Airports and harbours is by car following the main routes that connect the north and south of the island. However, there are several alternatives to explore the endless hamlets and spots of the island.

  • From Alghero airport in about 120 minutes you can get to  San Teodoro following the SS291 var and then the SS597 Sassari – Olbia until taking SS131 dcn in the surroundings of Olbia. Once there go ahead towards Nuoro/Cagliari and take the exit San Teodoro
  • From Cagliari Airport  is very easy to arrive! It takes about 2 hours and 30 minuts, driving along SS131 first and then taking the SS131 dcn towards Olbia, until San Teodoro.
